Join our community
If you are new to FAQTs then you'll want to join our community to take advantage of the member's benefits, including the possibility of contributing content and participating in discussions. You'll be able to create new knowledge bases and extend others. It's free and easy to join.
Click on the My Faqts link at the top of the page. This link will take you to a page that give you two options. You're interested in the join our community link. Later, after you've become a member, you'll be interested in the login here link. (If your browser supports cookies this shouldn't be necessary as the site will remember you and automatically log you in, unless you logged out in your last session.)
Once you've clicked on the join our community link you'll see that all we ask is that you provide us with your

Whether you enter content here or not is completely up to you though we would appreciate it if you took the time. We use the information gathered from this page to better tailor advertising to our users. We don't give out this personal information to anyone under any circumstances and adhere to the following privacy policy. You can change this information at any time by clicking on the Information link in the My Faqts page once you're a member.
Click on the "Join" button once you're done. That's it to becoming a member. You'll be taken to a Welcome! page with a link back to the FAQTS homepage, also, you'll receive a confirmation e-mail from the FAQTS Administrator providing you with the login e-mail and password you entered and a URL where you can change your registration details.
Member Options
As a member you are provided with the following options under the My Faqts link.

This link takes you to the User Information page that you filled out when you first became a member. It requests information regarding your location, gender, age, profession, etc. This information is used so that we can better tailor advertising to our users and therefore it is not compulsory that you fill it out. We don't give out this personal information to anyone under any circumstances and adhere to the following privacy policy.
This link provides you with the possibility of stopping all your e-mail alerts until further notice or up to a given date. Either click on the Stop all email alerts link, or fill in the form with the date you would like to stop all email alerts until and hit the "Stop" button.
It also gives you the possibility of viewing all your e-mail alerts (those on folders and entries) and either going to the entry or folder the alert is associated with, or deleting individual alerts (click on '[delete]' beside the folder or entry name). Click on Knowledge Base to see the list of alerts.
To delete your account on FAQTs click on this link, enter your password and hit the "Delete" button.
Deleting your account means that all of your personal information, except for your name will be deleted from our database. Once deleted, you cannot log in and you lose all member privileges at this site. You will need to sign up again to regain those privileges. We need to keep your name so we can show something meaningful as the author of any contributions you have made. If you like, you can change your name to something more anonymous before deleting your account. Contributions you have made to the site are not deleted.
By clicking on this link you are automatically logged off the site. This means that we have removed any cookies from your machine. In theory that should protect you from someone coming along and using your account. We leave a cookie on your machine identifying you if you don't log out, that means that next time you come to FAQTS you won't have to bother logging in.
You can login again at any time.
