Nathan Clute, Information Technology, Tony Casmiri,
I assume of course you're referring to the orginal codes? I am
conducting a search myself. Please let me know if any one shared with
you any information on that. But according to what I have read,
official stand of Microsoft is NOT POSSIBLE. But if the executable
code is still in *.MDE, then there muse be a way to retrieve and de-
compile that back in to VBA code, right? Please let me know what you
think. Thanks. :-)
Nathan: You can open the *.MDE using SQL Server. Data Engines are
compatible with SQL database structure. You can install SQL reading
capability from your MS Office CD-Rom by opening directory
Sql\sqlsetup.exe Otherwise do a search on cd and look for SQL. As far
as recovering the original MDB, your best bet would be a system restore
(avail. Win ME or Win XP-Home) or downloading a shareware undelete
software from softseek.com (this is possible because when a file is
deleted only the link is deleted, not the actual file - - but you must
act soon before that data on your harddrive is written over.)
