how do i connect to sql server via proxy

There you have to user internect connection sharing or somthing called 
routing to connect to sql server.

I don't think so that sql server will be connected via proxy.

It is Possible. But the solution usually is problematic and the 
problems you face depend upon which proxy you are using or if there's 
any firewall etc.
