Could anyone explain why is JavaScript code likely to play pretty slowly?

Oct 12th, 2001 02:12
Jean-Bernard Valentaten, Janos Smith,

Basically js-code is not compiled but interpreted, so it takes more
time to run than c++ code would.
But usually the js-code runs pretty fast, if you experience any lag or
slowdown it might be a problem with:
- your code
- your browser
- your PC
Maybe if you show some code that slows your PC, we might isolate the
problem.
