Why does running a DHTML animation in two seperate browser windows go faster than just one browser?

Apr 6th, 2008 19:09
ha mo, Alan Frey, Richard Gnall,

It is most likely due to the browsers memory allocation. For most
browsers, each instance of the browser is a thread which is allocated
memory. Running the annimation in two browser windows, is like running
in a multi-threaded environment.
