when i try to send a cookie with a different domain name from the actual, the cookie is not sent !

I would assume that you are actually sending both cookies, just only 
one is being received.  Generally, you can only set cookies for your 
server or your entire domain as a security feature -- it wouldn't be 
good if you could reset other people's cookies, now, would it?
