I think your asking how to upload a file.
in the html you need (the enctype is needed):
<form method=POST action='url.php3' enctype='multipart/form-data'>
  <input type=hidden name='MAX_FILE_SIZE' value=200000>
  file: <input type=file name='userfile'>
</form>
php will then set some variables for you:
  $userfile : a temporary file where the file is stored
  $userfile_name : the name of the file on the client
  $userfile_type : the type associated with the file
you could then copy($userfile,$userfile_name) etc.
