How do I "document.write" an ordered list [lower-case alphabetical]a,b,c,d,e,f,

Apr 7th, 2008 22:36
ha mo, Colin Fraser, stevie kidd,

Try
<script>
document.write("<ol type='a'> <li>List item 1</li>");
document.write("<li>List item 2</li>");
document.write("<li>List item 3</li>");
document.write("<li>List item 4</li></ol>");
</script>
This will work. note the one thing that tends to trip people up when
they first start on Javascript, the single quote marks in the type value.
Good luck
