how do get php4 to make after I did ./configure..there is no make in it.

I had this same problem.  Turns out I didn't have flex programming tool 
installed.  I installed version 2.5.4-1 off of my distribution CD and 
PHP compiled.  Hope that helps.
  and I read the installation and I got one from the php documents
