how to enable the ssl from php with apache

Nov 28th, 2008 11:17
healthy man, TeraZen, emad zakaria,

"enable the ssl"?
Secured Sockets Layer (SSL) is a protocol that transmits your
communications over the Internet in an encrypted form! You can't
"enable" it with PHP ;) It's a stand-alone protocol, which will send
your page to the client in an encrypted form, so no one will be able to
"sniff" it! To use SSL, try using Apache-SSL (http://www.apache-ssl.org)!
You can also use OpenSSL -> http://www.openssl.org/
