Err: Value too large for defined data type! Is it possible to increase Apache's file size limit?

I just ran into the same problem. Not sure about increasing Apache's 
file size limit. My log file reached suspiciously close to 32 bits. I 
made a backup of the log file & created a new one & was able to start 
Apache/Tomcat again. Hope this helps.
