I had encountered thi s error "Fatal error: Call to undefined function: imap_open()". Please help.

IMAP is a feature that must be compiled into PHP to work. Most likely 
your particular installation of PHP does not have the IMAP code compiled 
in (some web hosts/servers don't have it done by default) and therefore 
it's not able to do any of the IMAP functions.
