VMWare: Operating system: How to install Linux Mandrake v8.2 on VMWare 
for Windows workstation v4?

Steps: Overview:

 1. Insert the CDs or DVD

 2. In menu 'Edit'->'Virtual Devices' use e.g. physical drive 'D', 
and 'raw access'

 3. If you possibly get a non-bootable CD message, restart your 
computer

 4. Follow the installation steps

 Further:

 4. Possibly only install the GNOME package

 5. Choose a different IP address than the current one for Microsoft XP
    (e.g. 192.168.1.128)
