Possibly make sure you make a backup of the existing .syn file(s) just
in case of.

Steps: Overview:

 1.  -make sure that .syn file is present
      in the '..\synhi\' folder
      for example by copying it into this
      directory:

       e.g.

        copy mysyntaxhighlightfilename.syn c:\tse\synhi\

 2.  -run the macro '..\mac\syncfg.mac'

 3.   -select from menu option 'Other'

 4.   -choose the .syn filename

        e.g.

         mysyntaxhighlightfilename.syn

 5.    -save this .syn syntax highligt text file to
        a textfile by selecting the menu option
        'Write Settings to Mapping Text File...',

           e.g.

            mysyntaxhighlightfilename.txt
