Steps: Overview:
1. -Download winimage from
http://www.winimage.com
2. -Install the program
click on winimage.exe
and follow the steps of the wizard
3. -select from menu option 'Disk'
4. -select from list 'Create CDRom ISO image...'
5. -Make sure the the CDROM from which you want to make
an ISO image is inserted in your computer's
CD player
6. -Choose the CD-ROM (e.g. 'D:')
7. -type the filename for your .iso file
in the text box 'Write ISO image to filename'
(e.g. myisofilename.iso)
8. -click button 'OK' to start the copying
9. -when finished this will have created a .iso file (which you might
then use e.g. for installation of your operating system using
VMWare, or sending this file via the Internet).
