 1. click on the black 'monitor' with the shell icon on the left of the
    taskbar below

Steps: Overview:

 1. -click on the 'Red Hat' icon in the left bottom corner

 2.  -select from list 'System Tools'

 3.   -select from list 'More System Tools'

 4.    -select from list 'Terminal'

        (to add it to the taskbar, click

         'Add launcher to panel')

 1. -click on the black monitor on the right
     of the taskbar below.
