Steps: Overview:

 1. -Goto a console

 2. -Login as the root

     1. Type the command

         su

     2. Supply your root password

 3. -Type the command

      linuxconf

 4. -select from list 'Basic host settings'

 5. -TAB 'Adaptor2'

 6. -'Netdevice'

      tr0

 7. -'Kernel module'

      choose e.g.

       ibmtr
