Steps: Overview:

 1. -Goto a console

 2. -Login as the root

     1. Type the command

         su

     2. Supply your root password

 3. -Type the command

      linuxconf

 4. -'networking'

 5. -'client tasks'

 6. -'basic host settings'

 7. -'host name'

       {e.g. ibm570host}
