If you put the appropriate formula into my "3-D Curves" program on my 
website, you will be able to examine the Verhulst curve as one of its 
two parameters varies. Or if you have BBC BASIC for Windows, you can 
cut and paste my text listing and modify it as you please to operate 
with both parameters.

Verhulst curve given by: X(t)= 1/{1+((1/X(0))-1).exp(-r.t)}
