Is there an ODBC driver to connect to MySQL from MacOS?

There is currently no ODBC file for MacOS to connect to MySQL databases.

If you know how to develop one you may be able to get some sponsorship
for the task by asking on the mailing list:  mysql@lists.mysql.com
