Solution:
To brand in the latest versions of 4NT
(e.g. 4NT v5.00U) you will have to double click on the
4nt.key
file (which is usually attached to the latest e-mail sent to you by
jpsoft, after you ordered the product or renewed the license).

You will or should get this error if you should have tried as usual to
brand your version of 4NT by running br4nt.exe, and then supplying your
registered name, serial number and validation code.
So you should not register in this way anymore.
