Steps: Overview:

 1. -Start Total Commander

 2. -Select from menu option 'Options'

 3. -Possibly change the settings

 4. -Click button 'OK' when ready

Method: By directly editing the settings file

Steps: Overview:

 1. -Start Total Commander

 2. -Select from menu option 'Configuration'

 3. -Select from list 'Change Settings Files Directly'

 4. -Notepad will open with the settings of your file which you
     can edit yourself directly

     (this settings are stored in the file

       WINCMD.ini

       in your Windows directory
       (e.g. c:\windows\wincmd.ini))

 5. -Possibly save this file after you have edited it
