 To change the descriptions, you can use:

  1. Total Commander menu 'Files'->'Edit comment'

  2. The 4nt/4dos command 'describe' command

  3. TakeCommand (which has a GUI interface)

Steps: Overview:

 1. -Start Total Commander

 2. -Select any file
     (e.g. by clicking briefly on it once)

 3. -Select from list 'Files'

     1. -This will open a dialog box 'File Comment'
         where you can edit the description text)

     2. -Click button 'OK' (or press <F2>) to
         store the result
