Microsoft Windows XP: Service pack 2:

Steps: Overview:

 1. -Right click on the bluetooth icon on the taskbar

     -- or --

    -Double click on the 'Bluetooth services' in the
     'Control Panel'

 2. -Select tab 'Devices'

 3. -Click button 'Add'

 4. -This will start the hardware detection wizard

 5. -Enable checkbox 'My device is setup and ready to be found'

 6. -Click button 'Next'

 7. -This will start the detection of Bluetooth devices
     nearby

 8. -If your device (e.g. your mobile phone) is
     detected, click on its icon to select it

 9. -Click button 'Next'

10. -If asked for a 'passkey' possibly fill in e.g. your own 'passkey'

     e.g.

      johnnydoe

11. -This will start installation

     1. -Possibly enter the 'passkey'
         (otherwise do not fill in anything,
          if using a 'passkey' is not possible for
          your device)
