Steps: Overview:

 1. Open an MSDOS command line window

    1. -Click button Windows 'Start'

    2. -Select from list 'Run'

    3. -Type

         cmd

 2. To restart Apache, at the DOS command prompt, type:

     apache -k shutdown

    or the full file path

     e.g.

      "c:\Program Files\Apache Group\Apache2\bin\Apache.exe" -k 
shutdown
