3. -To enlarge the picture while working on it,
you could e.g. 'stretch' the picture
1. -Select from menu option 'Image'
2. -Select from list 'Stretch/Skew'
3. -Fill in for vertical and horizontal
a value between 0% and 500%
4. -Click button 'OK'
4. -Draw your icon
1. Use the options in the palette in the
left pane
5. -Save your icon
1. Choose a filename with the extension
.ico
(and save the filename between "",
to be sure that the filename is saved
unchanged)
---
e.g.
"c:\temp\mytest.ico"
6. -Possibly add this icon to any of your programs
1. E.g. in Microsoft Explorer or any icon
on your desktop
1. Change the current icon of that file
1. -Right click on icon
2. -Select from list 'Properties'
3. -Click button 'Change icon...'
1. -Click button 'Browse'
1. -Browse to the location of your
icon file
e.g.
"c:\temp\mytest.ico"
2. -Click on the icon to select it
3. -Click button 'OK'
4. -Click button 'OK'
2. Your program will now have this icon assigned
