Set this via the

 working_directory

variable in the file

 tse.ini

in your main TSE directory.

Steps: Overview:

 1. -Goto your TSE directory

 2. -Open the file

      tse.ini

 3. -Search for the line containing

      working_directory

 4. -Change this to the startup directory of your choice

      in general:

       working_directory=<your startup directory>

      ---

      e.g.

       working_directory=c:\wordproc\tse32_v42011\knud

 5. -Save this file

      tse.ini

 6. -Restart your TSE

 7. -TSE will then start by default in
     this directory, if you e.g.

     1. Load a file

     2. run an MSDOS box from TSE

     3. Other
