Electromagnetism: Law: Maxwell: What are the Maxwell laws of
electromagnetism?

---

Axioms:

-1st law of Maxwell:

The electric flux through a closed
surface is equal to the sum of the electric
   charges enclosed by that surface

---

-2nd law of Maxwell:

The magnetic flux of a closed surface
   is equal to zero.

---

-3th law of Maxwell:

   A varying magnetic field generates
   an electric field

---

-4th law of Maxwell:

A varying electric field generates a
   magnetic field

---
---

Note:

This observations where mostly based on the extensive experiments
performed by Michael Faraday.
