using Domino URL? [command line]
---
Method: Using the Lotus Domino URL to let an agent run
Steps: Overview:
1. -You must have the Lotus Domino web server installed on the
computer from which you want to have databases accessed.
2. -Type the Lotus Domino URL in your browser
---
in general use:
http://<the ip address of the computer on which Lotus Domino
runs>/<the Lotus Notes database name you want to access>/<the agent
name you want to access>?OpenAgent[&<your parameters>]
---
e.g.
http://www.yourServer.com/TestData.nsf/HelloWorldAgent?
OpenAgent&Name=John
3. -This will start the agent on the receiving computer,
which will e.g. use HTML to give you a response
(e.g. searching in a Lotus Notes database)
