I am using windows xp and ie explorer v6.0 and having problems with cols attribute in textarea.

can somebody tell me why if I enter cols=70 lets me enter only 69 chars per line in windows xp but i

if i do the same in windows 2000 with same IE version

it works just fine it lets me enter 70 chars for 70 cols?
