How to stop mails coming from null addresses like <>?

Feb 27th, 2006 08:10
Roberto Alsina, Hemlata Lalwani,

If you want to stop receiving those mails, it can be done, but it's
non-standard behaviour, and some servers may not like it. The simplest
way (untested) is using badmailfrom.
I accidentally did that (a broken patch), and a couple of servers
stopped receiving mail from me. Also, your users will not get some
bounces, so some mail
will be "lost" without reports.
If you are saying you don't want to **send** those mails, I have no
idea, maybe defaulthost, defaultdomain and other related files make a
difference.
