Kashif,
     Yes, that operation is called an Image Swap.  If you search 
Google, you can find all kinds of different free scripts for that.  
The following is the simplest form of such a script:
<img src="image1.gif" border="0"
 onmouseover="this.src = 'image2.gif'; return true;"
 onmouseout="this.src = 'image1.gif'; return true;">
     Note that this is ideal only if both images are of the same 
dimensions.  For images of differing dimensions an entirely different 
technique is required.
