How to get better deals on hotels?

hi,

If you are really looking to get best deals with Hotels you must contact
with your travel agent instead of making direct deal with Hotel. The
reason behind my views is that the Hotels offers 10-15% discounts on
their rack rates if you approach them directly whereas the commission
paid to travel agents may reach upto 40-50%, and about 20-25% discount
can easily be get from a travel agent.
So, Here you are in a profit of 5-10%.
