Whats new in the NFS Underground series?

Well, the best part that i found on NFS-Underground series is that, 
here you dont get readymade sports car. You start with a basic Stock 
Car which you modify as you progress further in the game. This gives 
you an idea about how you can modify your car... and believe me! Now i 
know soooo much about parts, performance, the various factors that 
improve speed, etc... The animations are also too good.
