Can employee productivity remain unaffected when I secure USB ports?

The best way to secure USB ports without letting it affect the
productivity of your staff is to keep a software controlled central
access to these ports. In this way the access to these ports can be
defined for different locations and it can be decided whether the port
must be assigned read only, read write, or a disabled status. This will
also allow the employees to concentrate on the job at hand instead of
bothering about security. Policy based decisions regarding the status
of the USB ports allows the staff to work at their normal speed without
hampering security.
