How are RSS feeds created, and what are they used for?

The simplest way to create RSS feeds is to use software tools like
FeedForAll. However, you have to create an RSS file in an XML format to
syndicate headlines and descriptions if you like. When you create an RSS
feed, others are allowed to subscribe to the information in your RSS feeds.

Initially, RSS feeds used to be intended for headlines only. However,
now it has expanded to forum headlines, new auction listings, updated
listing of houses for sale and so forth.
