No matter how talented the web designers could be, human errors are
bound to creep in during the designing of a website. However, if you are
aware of the common web designing pitfalls, you are more careful about
them and hence, you are less likely to commit them again.
Some of the dumbest web designing errors that have been found to be
common are as follows:
Domain misspell – misspelling your domain could seriously endanger your
client’s prospect. Make sure you hear you clients correctly before you
register the domain for your clients.
Expiry of domains – If you do not renew you domain with the registrar
and forget to do so in time, it might lead to expiry of your domains.
Display of private information – Sometimes your designer may publish
information that is considered private and sensitive because they may
not be aware of the same.
404 error page – when you design a 404 error page, make sure your
message should be apologetic, cordial and guiding the visitors to the
right destination. Failing to do so could insult your visitors.
