Where can I get help compiling Apache, PHP and MySQL?

Jan 19th, 2000 23:25
Nathan Wallace, Donncha O Caoimh,

The best place to start are the complete installation instructions for
PHP, Apache, MySQL and so on at:

    http://www.e-gineer.com/instructions

You could try the INSTALL file that comes in the PHP distribution.

Next, search the mailing list using the search form on
http://www.php.net for your particular problem. It is almost a
certainty that someone has had exactly the same problem before.

If all else fails then you can post a detailed description of your
problem to the mailing list.

You might like to try Install-Webserver at

    http://members.xoom.com/xeer/

This is a small script that greatly automates installing the above
programs. Look for it on the software page linked from the side bar.
