How can I install the free Sybase Client Library?

Download the rpm:s from linux.sybase.com if you are running linux, you
can also use FreeTDS, although I dont know how to install it.
You need to set your environment variable $SYBASE so it points to the
directory where the interfaces file is, e.g. /opt/sybase-11.9.2
Also you may need to unset $LANG.
