I can't seem to find oci.h ("included" from php_oci8.h) anywhere in the distributions of either php or oracle8i for Linux. Can't MAKE without it.

Bram Dumolin, Michael Breton,

I used to have the same problem, and it's a long time ago, so this might
be wrong, but what I did was install the demostuff/db from the oracle
cd.
And then in $ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/demo/ you have an oci.h

Copy that to an include path where your php is looking in and you should
be set :)
