How to use Login Manager in root folder

Go to the Zope 'Root Folder' and select the 'Security'-tab in the ZMI 
(Zope Management Interface). Then uncheck the checkbox 'View' at the 
Anonymous column. Now every time someone requests viewing the Root 
Folder without authentication the LoginManager appears.
