I cannot re-install Apache 1.3.12 on Red hat as it says it cannot find the compilers, gcc et al - how do I find them, and where should they go?

Jc Imbeault, Roger Brady,

You can find those on your Red Hat installation CD. Mount the CD and
look under /mnt/cdrom/RedHat/RPMS for an rpm file starting with gcc and
install it (do rpm -ih "filename").
You need to be root to do this however.
