i am trying to download rtf file with NN4,it's down loading but adding junk data,even i set the content type as application/rtf .how can i avoid junk

I am not sure exactly what is causing this problem, but I strongly
suspect it has more to do with either your modem, if you are using a
modem, or the line you are on. I would suggest that it has nothing to do
with JavaScript, simply because JavaScript has no strong file writing
capabilities. You may want to get in touch with your ISP and see if you
may be getting some spillage from somewhere, or, if you are on a phone
line, the phone company and get them to check it all out. If you are
getting service through a company LAN then talk to the System Manager or
Administrator, something is not right...
