How to print layer, in Netscape, generated with javascript : ex document.layer1.document.write

Apr 5th, 2008 19:57
ha mo, Colin Fraser, Eric Pelletier,

Well for starters, the line :
             document.layer1.document.write
has something wrong with it, a couple of things actually. Why are you
referring to the document twice in the same object? Would it not be
better to put something like
             document.layer1.print()
I seem to recall something similar in one of the answered questions, but
I cannot recall where, maybe on another site or the javascript newsgroup.
From memory, and I don't have time to try this myself, I think it was
saying something like
select the text or object you want printed
then use the print method rather than write()
Good luck.
