ey !
most sites using cgi's to search on it. You must know the name of the
cgi that searches and the proper URI syntax of the script.
Finally you can just include() the whole thing to your page.. but be
aware with including external sites.. check php document for further
infos !

If you are a php programmer you can use the fopen command or (to get
through proxy's) a third party http class/library.
A good one is Snoopy which you can get from
http://www.sourceforge.net/projects/snoopy.
You can then try something like:
$snoopy = new Snoopy;
$snoopy->proxy_host = "cache.domain.com.au";
$snoopy->proxy_port = "8080";
// Edit these if you need to use Proxy Auth with user/passwd
//$snoopy->user = "";
//$snoopy->pass = "";
if($snoopy->fetch($url_of_your_site) && $snoopy->status == 200)
{
	return $snoopy->results;
}
else
{
	return FALSE;
}
This way the $url_of_your_site can be kept completely hidden and you
can
further manipulate $snoopy->results anyway you like before returning to
the users browser.
